NORMALISING DISCHARGE

Wondering if your vaginal discharge is normal?

Discharge is normal. It is a great way to help track your cycle. The colour and consistency can say a lot about our vaginal health. Normal discharge is odourless, discharge helps clean and lubricate your vagina.

Reach out to your doctor if you see an increase in the amount of discharge or a change in the colour, smell or texture and If its itchy, burning or hurting while you urinate.

Clear discharge - healthy, you may see more of this during exercise and when you are aroused.

Milky white - healthy, if chunky can be sign of yeast infection.

Gray - could be bacterial vaginosis, BV.

Bright yellow - could STI.

Green - could be STD or BV.

Pink - pregnancy, injury or start of period.

Red - your period, spotting, an infection or a miscarriage.

Brown - an infection or the end of your period.

Watery - ovulation or sexual arrousal.

Cycle day 22.

Cycle Day 10, also had a cervical screening test this afternoon.

I'm on the pill so don't get a cycle but allll my undies still look like this.
